I dont think a narrel nut comes with this one rail. I have ordered this rail twice (not from optics planet) and one rail came with one and the other rail did not...that being said, it mounts to a regular barrel nut (A2 style)...you can buy them for about $5 or less...

Have a couple of these in different lengths, super lightweight and rugged! Comfortable, relatively small hold. Definite recommend these to anyone. The optional quad rail attachments are nice as well.

Requires household tools (torque driver does help with consistency) to install on a standard barrel nut. Comes with rail segments for all 3 side in varying sizes. Very slim and lightweight rail that comes in a variety of sizes for a very reasonable ...
