The combination of Schott glass and Schott glass is the basis for the highly corrected Schott color transmission spectrum. The Schott glass has also undergone a special process which gives it the color correction of the single element Schott glass. This special process gives the customer a consistent and high quality image without any residual color fringing. In addition to the Schott color correction, the 10X Achromat objective also has the additional advantage of being fully immersion corrected.
