Operable with one 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery, the SS1000 features a 3 stage selector switch with variable brightness modes. A focusable beam enables users to go from spot to flood settings and works with both traditional and digital night vision devices. Constructed from durable, aircraft-grade aluminum, the SS1000 is waterproof, dustproof, and ready to take on a variety of conditions. This illuminator offers three power optionsa low output at 100mW, a medium output at 500mW, and a high output at 1,000mW for a more powerful and brighter experience. Used on the 100mW mode, the SS1000 can be used for up to 60 hours in the field. The design of the IR flashlight is great for handheld use and the location of the 2-stage push on/off switch makes it easy to operate with the thumb.
