Flexible Bellow Joints, PTFE, for joining two pieces of glassware at right angles to each other, are a necessary component of many lab glassware assemblies. They provide a safe, easy, and economical means of assembling and disconnecting glassware at defined separation distances. Also plays an important role in reducing the probability of glass bursting during temperature cycling. Their composition and arrangement provide an excellent method for relieving stress and misalignment without damage to the assembled instrument. A high level of chemical resistance makes PTFE an excellent choice for most vacuum applications. These bellows are designed for use with DuoSeal* ground joint adapters and can be keyed to fit a wide range of OEM equipment.
