IKA Works Vortex 3 Orbital Shakers, IKA Works 3342100 inserts for universal attachment. Vortex orbital shakers provide strong vertical forces to compact sample throughout the mixing zone. Inserts allow optional universal attachment to be installed on the top and bottom of the shaker shaft. The small size and lightweight make this unit convenient for dispensing from a bottle or vial, and may be placed in any convenient position for mixing, dispensing, or pouring. Multiple orbits open up large sample volumes with a simple twist. The large size also allows for easy visual inspection of the contents. The vortexing action makes it possible to screen a large volume quickly, and the large size allows for a smooth pour. In addition to being gentle on the samples, the strong force of the orb makes it possible to screen a large volume quickly, further reducing sample handling and possibly leakage.
