Based on the traditional VWR clear cylinder, the VWR round jar is manufactured with a cylindrical shape and flared outside finish. The round shape allows easy sampling from the container and it serves as a handle for easy lifting. The wide mouth top provides easy filling and pouring. The wide mouth allows loose parts to be easily removed. The lip of the jar is flared outside for gripping while a neck finish keeps leaking from the container from occurring. The neck finish also provides some chemical resistance to the etching. All jars are supplied with complete ground glass stopper/plug adaptors and cotton plugs filled with cotton plugs. The plug adaptors may have a slight imperfection due to manufacturing and/or processing. Contact your VWR representative for the proper neck finish for your jars.
