These berzelius, tall form, double capacity scale beakers feature thicker side walls and taller shoulders which retain their shape more efficiently than round-bottom beakers. The extra-thick wall of these beakers provides better insulation and prevents chemical attack. The extra-thick side walls also allow the full volume of the beaker to be accurately measured and controlled. The thicker side walls also allow the full volume of the beaker to be controlled without worrying about dilution. The full scale of marks around the beaker enables accurate volume addition and serves as a convenient marking and volume marking guide. Marks in the hand made in Germany are permanent and insoluble in organic solvents. These beakers are made from KIMAX glass, the same material as is used in the production of precision laboratory glassware. The thick side walls also provide greater heat transfer and so the full strength of the beaker is retained. Capacity is measured in ounces.
