Meopta 2000 Series Artemis Riflescope 3-12x 50 is traditional riflescope in the best sense of the term. Artemis Riflescopes by Meopta are proven models made of traditional materials. The solid steel tube is
the distinctive feature of the whole Artemis 2000 serie. Top shock resistant, excellent optical power, watertightness and elegant, fully functional design - these are the properties of the Meopta Riflescopes that will be appreciated both by newcomers, as well as by the professionals for whom hunting is an inseparable part of their lifestyles.
Unique internal mechanism design of Meopta Artemis 2000 Rifle scope 3-12x50mm ensures precise adjustment and optical alignment. Multi coatings of all air to glass surfaces for superior edge to edge clarity and light transmission. Nitrogen purged and sealed body of Meopta riflescopes guarantes fog and waterproof performance. Precise internal quadratic windage and elevation adjustment ensures that zero spherical deviation will occur throughout the full range of adjustment. This rifle scope was engineered for complete temperature parallax compensation.
Meopta 2000 series Artemis Riflescope are the most resistant to external damage because of the steel tube. Construction of Meopta rifle scopes with steel tubes offers an additional advantage. As with virtually any material, extreme temperature change can cause expansion and contraction and thus vary alignment of inner and outer mechanisms, resulting in minor shifts in parallax at 100 M. However, with the consistent properties of steel Meopta is able design and build rifle scopes that control this problem. As a result, null parallax shift at 100 M in production means null parallax shift at 100 M in the hottest African or the coldest Alaskan environment!
Placement of the reticle (crosshairs) of Artemis 2000 rifle scope 3-12x 50mm in the front focal plane (behind the objective lens) means that with increased magnification both the target image and the reticle thickness increase. So, all fixed magnification riflescopes are not affected by the reticle position and a reticle positioned in the front focal plane enables the user to use the reticle distance estimation scale and pitches of thick lines for measuring distance at any magnification.
OpticsPlanet Inc. has a wide selection of Artemis Riflescopes Series 2000 by Meopta, such as Meopta 2000 Series Artemis Rifle scope 1.5 - 6x 42, Meopta 2000 Series Artemis Riflescopes 2-8x 42, Meopta 2000 Series Artemis Riflescope 6x42, and Meopta Artemis 3000 Series 3-9x42 Rifle scope.
