Product Info for Promega Celltiter 96(r) Aqueous 250mg G1112
96-well cell culture insert with pipet tips for easy plating in standard 96-well plates. Made from a highly concentrated form of tryptophan which is a potent cytotoxic compound that infects through both adherence and endotoxin penetration. Cytotoxicity test is easily performed using a standard 96-well cell culture plate. Toxicity data relates to viable but noninvasive (endothelial) cells. Generally there is a lag phase of at least three hours during which the viability of the culture medium drops below that of the feeder layer. Plating sites provide for plating of viable but not adherent cells. Tryptone-free and has no effect on cell viability.
