Attempt to use as Inner duty belt

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CO Written on March 3, 2012
Was bought to use as an inner belt, underneath my duty belt. Was not able to use it because the buckle is a bit bulky....

5.11 tdu belt

Don't have a lot to add to others review
of the these belts. They're a value purchase and they do what they're designed to do....hold your pants up and stay in place when bending, stooping or sitting. And, they stay secure with no slipping or loosening. I would suggest you measure correctly for your size and if you're "inbetween" go one size larger. You can always cut to length (if needed) with a sharp blade and heat the cut end with a flame to prevent fraying.
I bought tan and black belts and my only regret is...I should have bought a green one, too.
Pros: Great value, comfortable wear

Great Belt but sizing incorrect

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, MO Written on January 23, 2011
I ordered one of these in medium and thats supposed to be for waist sizes 32-34. I wear 32 or 34 waist pants depending on the brand but this belt was too small. Looks nice and strong so I'll be ordering another but in a larger size. ...

Great belt for Airport Travel

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on June 5, 2010
Great belt for anyone flying and it comes in big sizes for larger people. It also works well as a gun belt as it is stiff and doesn't fold over. The price was also very good even with shipping to Alaska.
Pros: It dosen't beep when going through the detectors.
Cons: Wear it for a few days and wash it to break it in for long travel days....

Great simple belt

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, IN Written on February 11, 2010
I've also used 5.11's 1.75 Operator belt and actually prefer the TDU for IWB carry. Stiffened belts like the Operator are nice but become very uncofortable at the end of a long day. The TDU still gives enough support but stays more comfortable longer, not to mention it is cheaper!
Pros: Light weight, durable
Cons: Sometimes a little hard to get really tight...
