heavyduty scope
I bought this scope when it went on sale, it arrived in a very nice Pelican case, and more than met my expectations for the price paid,it is now mounted to an AR-15 full rifle, with quad rail and bi-pod.
Because of the added weight I would not recommend this scope for use with a carbine, or any rifle you plan to hump for long distances, but overall Im pleased, works well with my application.
Pros: great F.O.V. , built bullet proof, very adjustable
Cons: very heavy 6 lbs., large size
Excellent for the price
Surprisingly nice optic - side-by-side comparo showed that strange yellow-tinged glass really cuts through glare (and distant screen patios), even next to a low-end leupold. 4x magn. ideal for midrange work, sits nicely on my Sig556 w/o fouling std charging handle, and field of view really is huge. Excellent for tracking fast-moving targets. A very pleasant surprise overall, perhaps at orig. price a tough sell 'cuz of competition, but at $199 a great buy. Take a look at what other combat scopes are avail for same price (with magnification). Holds zero just fine under stout recoil, have one on my 16"bbl AR10 also. Just remember that its pretty heavy, so hit the gym before hauling over rough terrain. An excellent squad-support/bipod sight.

BIG scope!
I just received this scope today and when I took it out of the nice package it arrived in it looked just like the picture on the web site, only BIGGER! After putting this scope on my DPMS M4 I am thinking of adding a bipod. Overall the scope seems very well built and has a very clean view. The reticle is crisp, lights up, and seems to work great. I have not shot the gun with this scope mounted but I plan too this weekend. If anyone would like to see a pic of this mounted on an AR15 email me at mrader@cinci.rr.com and i will send you some pics to give you and idea of what this thing looks like mounted up. Overall I am happy with my purchase...
