I was really impressed with these binos from the moment I opened the box. Although they're a bit on the heavy side they feel very strong and durable. I use my outdoor equipment like tools so I'm not at all precious about going easy. If I need to put the binos in the bottom of the boat to land a fish then that's where they go :). I've used mine everyday for 4 months on a road trip, they get bounced around the car, have had a fair bit of salt spray from being used out of a kayak, been subjected to windy days on sandy beaches and they still look new. They are my first decent pair and I have been really impressed with the quality and performance of them. The fit in the case is very snug but makes them compact for putting in a backpack for hiking. There is a lot of glare on the lenses when looking anywhere near the direction of the sun, I'm not sure if other binoculars suffer from this as badly. I can operate these one handed, so it's easy enough to use the other hand to block the glare. ...

great for shooting in archery tournaments were you can't have over an 8.5 power but these work good for me even at the 8 power. But if in low light its a little hard to the rings on the darker 3d targets at distances over 35 to 40 yard. But it was at the edge of dark in the tree cover. You can see the target just not the scoring rings. But I still love these for most part they have preformed to my expectations.

Exceeded my expectations especially for the price. Not as bright as the more expensive glass but very usable with 4 exit pupil. I like the focus lock similiar to Pentax DCF SP & ED. Focus was smooth, I was able to keep moving subjects in focus rather easily. I thought for 32mm resolution was very good. Fairly sharp to better than fifty percent. I would classify these as a great buy at this price and optically better than others at double the price.

I love these binos. The only complaint is that the lens covers I don't even think were made for these binos but I wrapped some electrical tape around the eyepiece and they stay on perfectly and protect it from the elements. The clarity is outstanding for the price or any price for that matter. I took optics planets advice on this pair over another and their word held true. I have used these river hunting in northern bc in the pouring rain amoungst other hunting and no problems. Browning once again has a great product with these binos. I highly recommend.

If there are any left at the $150 price, buy them now! For the money, they cannot be beat. The FOV is excellent, they feel very solid, very good brightness, and focus is very precise. Excellent feature set. I think these are (old style) Bushnell Legends and are about $70 cheaper. An outstanding all-around binocular, or a very good back-up for those of you with high-end binocs.
