The Bushnell 3" Reflector appears to be a marvelous scope BUT the sight is SO hard to set...wobbly, doesn't arc well onto the arc of the scope (poor fit)that I have not gotten much use out of this scope for small object - star/planet - gazing, my primary interest! I am still working with this problem, not happy about it at all!!

This scope meets my expectations as a novice star-gazer. It was a bit difficult to put together, the instructions could stand to be a bit clearer and have better pictures. (use the picture on the website for some clues.) The lighted site finder was mostly undocumented and I missed the light for a day or two. This really helps to get a good aim at your gazing spot. For the price this is better than I expected.

This is my first telescope - and in my opinion it is a great way to get started at a very manageable price point. I have seen some other far more expensive models - but like the both the ease and challenge of the manual focus device. I think that this model is perfect for beginnings on a budget and has provided some fantastic viewing so far. The rings of Saturn blew me away!

I like this for a inexpensive telescope and none computerized.

I am a first time user, and I find this telescope to be very user friendly. My family absolutely enjoyed the view from the Bushnell 3". The optics was very clear. I recommend every family who does not have a telescope in their home to purchase the Bushnell 3" 789669 as a first time buyer. Good quality for the price. I give it a 5 star...!!!!
