Pros:  Cost, ease of set up, ease of use
Cons:  Features and toughness
Would recommend:  yes

Overall a good micro dot. THe dot is clear and easy to see. The unit mounted in a minute. Sighted in 10 shots. Sat low on the weapon. It would be a good reddot for a weapon with low sights. You would need a riser to use on an AR. I would not use for a work rifle. Best suited for the occastional shooter. For the money it is a good buy.

Pros:  Solid, well built, affordable
Cons:  None so far
Would recommend:  yes

JC wrote:

I bought the TSR25 as a replacement for an older red dot on a .22 semi auto pistol. I was looking for a traditional style red dot that was smaller, lighter and well built. I have had the TRS25 for 2 months now and it has performed flawlessly. The brightness/off rheostat has firm and precise click adjustments. The dot seems round and crisp to my aging eyes when the brightness is adjusted properly. The dot becomes star shaped at overly bright settings. It only weighs 3.7 oz. but surprisingly, when you hold it in your hand, it gives the feeling of being solid and well built. For my purpose it was a good choice.

Pros:  super simple
Cons:  30mm tube would be nice
Would recommend:  yes

Gitwun wrote:

Using it on a bottom of the line Ruger 10/22 in the ATI Strikeforce stock (no angle on the buffer tube). Replaced the Weaver mount included with 10/22s with a Weaver to 1913 mount, added a 1" riser then the Bushnell. Zero was quick and easy, now driving tacks @ 25yds. Try 50 and 100 next time out. Glad I bought two, need one more to top a third 10/22. Absolutely crazy fun!

Author: Mike Pell (verified customer) from Cincinnati OH on Feb 16, 2013
Pros:  Clean design, bright when needed
Cons:  lens cover could be better
Would recommend:  yes

Mike Pell wrote:

Placed order and got the TRS-25 in a couple of days. Very easy to set up on DPMS Sportical, Needed only minor tweaking to get it sighted in. Only thing I would prefer would have been flip up lens covers, but this is a minor issue as you can pull the rubber cover down onto the riser. For the money this is a very good Red Dot sight and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a budget red dot.
