Awesome Telescope

I waited for about two weeks to get a clear sky and view the planets. Saturn literally scared me once I focused in on it. I jolted from the eyepiece at the beauty of this magnificent planet. I need a case for this scope, but can't seem to locate one allocated for it. I highly recommend this scope to everybody. Buy it and the eyepiece kit and an observer's chair, and a scarf and watchcap, and a star atlas, and a red flashlight. Then you will be able to spend hours upon hours upon hours enjoying the free entertainment thereafter. With a proper case for all of this equipment, the scope has great enough quality and versatility to provide a lifetime of true astronomy on the fly. As the larger scopes are more cumbersome, the trade-off ratios considered in the design of this optics system are simply unbeatable. It does take a few minutes to set up, so plan for it so you don't miss your target for the evening by tardiness. It comes with a lesser grade eyepiece (that is sufficient nonetheless), but you will need closer views to be fully appreciative of this scope's capabilities. Fantastic lunar views, and I hope nebulae also (my next planned outing). Have fun and buy extra scopes too just in case if you can afford it. I mean this is the cream of the crop in its category. Forget about the computers and go hunting on your own. Machines take the adventure out of the equation anyway. Dig in and enjoy this instrument while you observe the wonders of this cosmic sea.

for under 1000 dollars i have totally outfitted this scope.Dual motor drive, filters & lenses. It makes a phenom solar scope. Amazing optics, mine came slightly out of colmination, easy fix.
The stand is very stable and smooth gear operation. The non goto is the only way to go.Many friends of mine have goto - Why - I use my cell apps to get coordinates for deep space viewing.Only drawback is could use more apperature (never enough).
awesome value for 600 dollars though.
Pros: great optics - non goto
Cons: could always use more apperature...

The November issue of "Sky at Night" reviewed this scope and gave it a rating of 93%, recommending it as a excellent all around performer. I really like the portability aspect of the scope as I view from many locations other than just my backyard.
Pros: Good optics, good quality and nice value.
Cons: None...
