Most Helpful Negative Review EOTech 510 woes
The usual electronic gadget failure. So much for 'mil spec'. The unit would just go blank now and then. I suspect it was due to battery contact issues. I sold it at a 'deep discount' to a friend who was willing to send it back for service. My weapons systems have to work 'every time' all the time.

EOTech 511

I've ordered two EOTech's from OPTICS PLANET over the last couple of years and was very impressed in how quickly they were shipped and have never had any problem's with them. I am on a tactical team and use them in extreme weather in Iowa and heat from being stored in a vehicle. The AA batteries last far longer than fellow team members lithium's. I will continue to give OPTICS PLANET my business, and have recommended them to fellow officers who might not have heard of them.

EOTech red dot weapon sight.

The EOTech 510 weapon scope was all that the description claimed to be. It is very well made, built to be rugged and take a lot of punishment under all conditions. More than a red dot scope the reticle allows fast acquisition of your target while still enabling accurate pinpoint shot placement. Size is bigger than many others, but usability makes it worth it.
Pros: Rugged and well made.
Cons: Big, takes up a lot of space on the rail.

512 EOtech

My intended purshase was out of stock and was replaced by a 512. This was done after notification by your company. The susequent 512 is more than acceptable and is presently mounted to my M4. It is my second 512, which is also mounted to another rifle. The second purchase should speak to my satisfaction with the product.
Pros: Large view port, ease of installation, and function and performance in all lighting conditions
Cons: Maybe weight, but everything must weigh something.

Held zero after 1000 rounds through my Ar. It was also a bonus that i recieved a cover with the sight. Definetly worth the money, because i could run and shoot while staying with targets.

Awesome Holographic Weapon Sight

This is a fantastic holographic weapon sight. Target acquisition is quick and dead on using this sight. Batteries are reliable and easy to change. Scope adjustments to zero it are user friendly and simple to use. This scope gives you a huge advantage to standard military metal sights which can be used as back up sights in case the scope goes down. This sight is high quality. I am glad that I have it and highly recommend it.
