The Fenix TA20 and 21 model flashlights are outstanding units for the money. I have both mounted on AR15s and a TA20 mounted on a Remington 870. I have never had a malfunction even after firing thousands of rounds through my ARs. I love the rotating bezel that allows you to select the light output its much easier to use than trying to figure out how many clicks gets you to what you want. The rear pressure switch has an excellent feel and activates easily. These lights are insanely bright and easily allow for shots up to 150+ yards at night. Strobe could easily be used as a deterrent and is the setting that I use most of the time. I submerged the TA21 in my hot tub and left it there for 4 days pulled it out hit the button, no problem. You can spend more for a tactical light but until I break one of mine I have to say its probably not worth it.

bought this a month ago for work. It is awsomely bright..blinding. the dim mode mode allows me to write tickets without sillouetting myself as well as disrupting my adjusted night vision. the strike bezel is ferociously sharp and aggressive. great cop light.
