The only reason why I gave this bottle-top buret lower ratings is due to two design flaws in the product. I bought an amber jug container to protect my titrant from UV light; however, the bottle top buret titrant storage area is NOT protected by UV light since it is clear, and there is another clear area on the dispenser that can be affected by UV light. Both these problems were simple enought to fix since all I did was wrap some aluminum foil around all the exposed areas. Just seems a little counter intuitive to me. Plus if I'm going to drop $700+ dollars on something I want it to work properly. As far as ease of use, set up, accuracy and reproducibilty this piece of lab equipment seems great for the analysis I do.
Pros: Easy to get volume of titrant used
Cons: Lack of UV protection
