Most Helpful Positive Review Outstanding
As a firearms Instructor, I tend to go through both guns and optics at a much higher rate than most. I decided to try this scope for one of my loaner AR's after seeing one at a gun show. The scope has an amazing clarity, when considering it's pricepoint. It's even more striking. The one downsi...

Most Helpful Negative Review Not what I hoped it would be
The QD rings wouldn't securely attach to the rail. One was fairly loose, allowing me to wiggle the scope. I took them off and used a Burris PEPR mount i had on hand and headed out to the range. I was able to zero the scope, and was satisfied with it's ability to hold after 30 rounds, but when I cha...

Great Scope BEST bang for you buck!!!

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on July 14, 2013
I was saving for a vortex pst and decided to give this Leapers scope a try. I am glad I did. The glass is clear, the illumination works great, it's under 10 inches long, and looks like a true 1x power scope. I have no problem shooting with both eyes open super fast. The scope caps it comes with are super good quality but the mounts are too low for an AR type rifle if youre trying to mount them over fold down back up sights. But the mount are seriously the only con I can come up with I am super happy I spent my money on this. I bought the scope and a Burris Pepr mount and was still under 200 bucks! You can't go wrong with this purchase.
Pros: Awesome value, great features, and clear glass
Cons: None

quick acquisition

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on May 13, 2013
Had initially wanted the mildot set up for this scope. Wasn't available at the time. That being said, very sturdy and easy to zero as all the leapers products I have. Have grown fond of the circle dot reticle. The quick acquisition comes naturally and the rheostat is plenty bright for different light levels. Absolutely cannot beat the price for what you get.
Pros: heavy duty
Cons: none

Pros: short, light, fine reticle
Cons: made in china

Great Scope for 100 yards and under

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on December 23, 2012
Mounted using the included quick disconnect rings which adjusted for a tight, reliable mount. Zeroed quickly on my AR mid-length 5.56x45. Glass is clear and magnification is adequate to 100 yards. Reticle is clear but illumination could be brighter in bright sunlight. But in bright sunlight, the black circle dot reticle is easy to pick up and the illumination is not really needed. The dot is small enough that it does not block out the target at 100 yards. Great scope for the money. I will buy another.
Pros: Easy to mount, easy to zero, holds zero
Cons: Illumination could be brighter
