The flip pad, look for the pad! Its really good thing.
This is really good thing - fliping pad on bottom. You may be sure what exctly you get if you need to measure tables, panels or any protruding surfaces. Device is too light to extinguish tremor in hands when you measureng on long distances. On the other hand, it will be safe, if you suddenly dropped it on your foot. And it has so tiny "butt", so its difficult to keep it perpendicularly on a surface.

Three issues: first, the font size of the fraction display needs to be two sizes larger. Even when the display is illuminated it is hard to read. Secondly, the outer cover needs cabinet door bumpers added to its surface to hold it off the wall and keep the laser dot from being lost in the corner on long walls that aren't perfectly flat. And thirdly, the on/off buttons and the illuminated display button need raised bumps so your fingers can locate them in dim light. So, four stars out of five. Accuracy is dead on.
