Leupold Mk 4 Remington 700 LA
The product I received is not the product pictured. I call leupold and gave them the product number and they informed me the picture optics planet has of this base was from a product never released to market. If you order this product you will receive a picatinny style base. Not what is pictured.
Leupold mounts
I installed these om my Savage 110 ultralite and they are great. They are very strong and look good. The rings are Vortex with a Vortex scope. This was a great choice! The first mounts I ordered wouldn't be available for over a month so I spent a little more and without regret. Jennifer helped me and she really good and extremely knowledgeable.

Mark 4 Tactical M4 Mount
Good quality base, as would be expected from Leupold. Fit and finish are perfect. I like the length as opposed to some others that are extended and interfere with front optics. These are just right.

Solid Mounts
They seem good, have some sharp edges. Would of been nice if they had arrows or something to denote the direct, but I guess it's not that hard to figure out. They come with 2 sets of screws and a torx key, so that's nice. Both have 2 slots where some others only have 1.

.338 in Mag
I combined this mount and the MK4 rings on my .338 Win Mag Model 70 Elk killer. Comes with #6 and #8 screws. Used #6 but the sheer strength should be improved due to the Leupold design. Good fit. Better directions for those who are not machinists could not hurt. Expensive but you ALWAYS get what you pay for. No more, no less.

Leopold M4 tactical mount
Bought this mount do to the price for a steel mount. Put it on my Remington 700 police, the mount fit perfectly no gaps or off drilled holes. The screws are great and they include both the #6 and #8 size screws. It is supposed to have 15 MOA but I will find out when i mount scope. It would be nice if the center was milled out for a bit of weight saving but not a reason to pass this mount up. Would definitely buy again, Optics planet was fast and a pleasure to deal with.

Rock Solid Base
I bout this base to replace an old set of weavers. It mounted up solid and allows me to use some of the more high end rings that require a picatinny base. The steel construction is a must for steel rings. It's heavier but MUCH more solid and durable.

High Quality Leopold Mark 4 Tactical M4 Mount - Remington 700 5-R
I just recently installed the Leopold Mark 4 M4 Mount for my Rem 700 5-R rifle and it is really heavy duty and high quality. Included all the parts needed for a quick and easy install.

solid mounting platform. great finish. the 15 moa feature allows for short range zero and has just enough to get vx-3 4.5-14x50 luepold to a 1000yds.
