Good Design, Not So Good Craftmanship
This bag has an awesome design but it is not built well. The stitching is loose like the sewing machines werent set for proper tension. The fabric that is used isnt very duriable. The webbing, fasteners, and zippers are very good though. I bought this bag to use as a day pack/ quick go bag while Iam deployed. Most of the time I carry a few bottles of water, a few snacks, sun glasses, and a small survival whet stone in it. After about 3 days I noticed the outter pouches were starting to separate from the main bag. Luckly I knew a guy that could machine sew, so he went through the bag and stitched over everything the factory did. Now it works great! If Maxpedition would go with a better sewing process and switch the nylon fabric to a "mil-spec" nylon then this would be a great bag!
Pros: Good zippers, Awesome design, Nice heavy duty webbing, pocket for hydration system, shoulder straps are spaced correctly apart and are long enough to wear with body armor
Cons: Not a very duriable nylon fabric, Loose sewing process
