This AC adapter will help you evade a lot of frustration when you're out of juice on your scope, and Meade's scopes do eat batteries pretty fast.

I use this with a DC to AC inverter so I can draw power from my car's battery or a portable jumper battery and it works very good. Saved me a lot of nerves.
Pros: Pretty much required, since Meade telescopes eat batteries very fast
Cons: A little pricy for a a simple AC adapter
Would recommend: Yes
