Pros: good build quality, good optics.
Would recommend: yes

I just bought these binoculars a few days ago to accompany my spotting scope. Optics are clear, and they dont feel cheap in your hands. I think you will love them and at this price you can not miss. I've ordered drinks that were more expensive! NcStar is surprisingly high quality the ruby lenses are good and I think they are waterproof. You can also talk to americans at their contact number if you have questions or need help. When creeping around in the brush after an animal, you dont want to worry about scratching your expensive binoculars. These are perfect.
Lots of color fringing, but great price

Pros: price & optic range
Cons: no focus adjustment
Would recommend: yes

These are great for the price, but I wish there was a focus adjustment. For stars they are great, but for closer objects, they seem to not focus correctly for me. Instructions included say there is an adjustment wheel, but if there is, I can't find it. Auto focus has it's place and works best at long distances, but closer objects don't seem to focus correctly. For the price, they are certainly worth it, are constructed well, and come with a carry strap, case, and lens covers.

These were perfect for the price, The autofocus feature makes them great for picking up and looking at something in a hurry, like a moving aircraft. The autofocus also makes it easier to keep moving objects in focus.
The only problems are that sometimes it is hard to focus on an object if there is something in the foreground of your field of veiw. (i.e. I live alongside an airport and there are a lot of trees in my yard so if i try to look at something at the airport and get a branch or something in part of the view your eye seems to naturally want to focus the branch and not the distant object) that is a pretty minor con i might add, it just takes a second to get your eyes to focus in the background. The other con is that the eyepieces aren't as comfortable as I would have liked.
Overall, these are great binocs very cheap, very effective, worth every penny and then some. I definitely recommend them to anyone.
Make these into 2 spotters

I wanted autofocus and was about to drop $5-800 on Steiners and saw these. I figured WTF for $20. Glad I did. I held them up to a pair of $800 Steiners and saw a difference, but nothing to justify $780. If you are not in a rainy climate, the waterproof won't be an issue. They may not be as shockproof as the Steiners- just buy another pair. Since they are autofocus, I took them apart and use one side as a spotter.
