The other con is that the eyepieces aren't as comfortable as I would have liked. Overall, these are great binocs very cheap, very effective, worth every penny and then some. I definitely recommend them to anyone.

I held them up to a pair of $800 Steiners and saw a difference, but nothing to justify $780. If you are not in a rainy climate, the waterproof won't be an issue. They may not be as shockproof as the Steiners- just buy another pair. Since they are autofocus, I took them apart and use one side as a spotter.
