Nice rig!

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on June 22, 2013
This is a nice and well thought out vest. I had to cut some of the stitches in the pistol holster to make it usable as far as able to pack my side-arm. my Sig 226 and S&W M&P are too big without cutting a few stitches to make it fit. Overall good rig with lots of room to store magazines and just about anything you can think of
Pros: one size fits most
Cons: pistol holster is too small...

Love it but I can always think of an improvement

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 2, 2013
I really overall like the quality and fit of this vest. It's in my nature to always keep thinking of improvements, and with this I only have a couple. Being that this is my first use of a tactical vest, there may be others out there that already have the couple of added features I probably rather have. First, it would be nice to have the ability to move some things around, add or remove, so some sort of webbing might work out better. The other thing is the padding on the front shoulders are kind of unnecessary unless your shooting grandpa's shotgun. Most modern firearms that I see being used by this system are not going to have issues with recoil and these puffy pads just get in the way. I'd prefer something more smooth that isn't going to hangup on my buttstock. Also, per recommendations from youtubers I cut the inside stitching on the holster to fit my G19 with a TLR-1 attachment. If you've been looking around for that accommodating that feature, you'll have discovered that unless your willing to run kydex that your options are limited. I do like the fit and it seems like it would hold tight when running and playing GI Joe. Havn't tried it here in Michigan yet cuz we've got a foot of snow, and I can't leave my warm and coozy fireplace for another month. Needless to say though, it seems like a good value and important tool to add to your defense systems....

great product

I'm a pretty well fit lean guy at 69" height 150lbs. This vest was pretty loose around the waist area and the straps couldn't get any tighter so I had it altered to fit me better. Remember, one size fits most!
Pros: holster, ammo pockets, vest
Cons: one size fits MOST...

You've tried the rest, now try the best. This is the rig I was searching for - it costs a little more, but it is worth it. Very solid construction, everything works. Takes a little attention to get set up, but you are paying attention, right?? Go buy it.
Pros: top quality construction
Cons: none...
