Good Quality Product, But Not A Shooting Mat

by GDog77, from United States, MI Written on February 3, 2015
The overall quality and workmanship is good. However, in my opinion, the main zipper does not open far enough on either side to use for a mat. When you open both zippers as far as they go, they are not quite past the radius of either corner. Laying it flat pulls to hard on the zippers and will eventually pull them apart. If both ends of the zipper were an inch longer, it would fold flat without a problem....

OPMOD 2 Gun Tactical case

by J-Bone, from United States, TX Written on January 17, 2015
I could fit three rifles within the bag, as well as outfit the outer pockets with various Mollie gear. The inside of the bag also contains a stretch of area where more Mollie gear outfitting. It may or have mag pouches on the outside but you can custom make your own rig with this case....

Field bag for competition or fun

by Bruno, from United States, WA Written on January 6, 2015
The price was unbeatable for what you get. Room for 2 bolt action rifles and seperate compartment for spotting scope and tripod. Another compartment to keep my rangefinder, Kestrel, data book and ammo in. It's padded and has velcro straps to accomodate just about any configuration to leep things in place. Shoulder straps are durable and the material and overall execution of this bag makes it perfect for what I needed.
The only thing I might add will be a waist band to keep it from swaying when I am walking using the shoulder straps....

Opmod dual rifle bag

by Papabear, from United States, CA Written on January 6, 2015
I haven't had a chance to really put it to use yet, but it seems sturdy and well made.
The one initial criticism I have, is that it seems for a bag of this size and weight, that it would have more room vertically for the rifles inside. Not sure how it would feel to try to use the backpack straps with this thing fully loaded with gear.
I will have to re-review later after I've used it a bit....
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • a little on the heavy side

Great bag for the price

by Patrick Murray, from United States, WA Written on November 18, 2014
This bag is suitable for one or two rifles. Plenty of velcro straps to attach your weapon. I would add that the pull cords attached to the zippers can easily come off and although that is such a minor thing, I did want to mention so as to be comprehensive....

It's not bad

by matt, from United States, TN Written on October 21, 2014
Seems to be well made. I thought I would like the straps the hold the rifles in place but I wish I would have bought one that was divided. Just a personal preference. Not a fault of the bag. It does exactly what it is designed to do....
Pros:
  • Well made, good price
Cons:
  • None

Double Rifle Case

by Ocean, from United States, NC Written on October 20, 2014
Needed a Range Transport bag. This fits the role well. Plenty of padding for external event protection. Plenty of MOLLE Velco straps and loops for securing the rifle. Pockets are appropriate sized and laid out for other gear. Since it carries two rifles, in-situ padding between rifles is important. It's not shown in the images, there are two Velco 4"x42" dividers 'pads' and MOLLE straps to protect in-between the rifles. This is not an Air Transport or Securable case....
Pros:
  • Size
  • Adjustments / MOLLE
  • MOLLE Loops and Straps Provided
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Transport to Range
  • When out of the safe

OPMOD double rifle case

by Adam, from United States, CO Written on October 11, 2014
I now have several bags in the OPMOD line to include a backpack, the range bag, and now this case. They are all extremely well made and built to last. This case is no exception! I can easily fit both of my ARs with room for accessories and mags. For the price this case can't be beat!...

Serious soft gun case

by Sactown shooter, from United States, CA Written on September 23, 2014
This thing isn't messing around. It has an ample amount of padding and room for two long guns. The pockets on the outside are big enough to fit... well, I don't know how to fill these things up. I've got all my AR15 magazines (I'd say how many and what the rd count is but I'm in CA), and 500 rounds of .223 and there's still room in the big pocket. I think the smaller outer pocket could hold a full size 1911, a bunch of magazines and a half case of ammo too. I shopped around for a while to find a deal on a long gun case and couldn't find anything close to the quality of this one for anywhere close to the price. It looks to be the highest quality case that I've gotten my hands on and was super affordable. It would still be worth the money if it was $200. I didn't have a case for my tactical pistol grip shotgun and AR15 and this is going to get me to classes and the range in one bag, without damage, no problem....

Worth More then the Cost

by Army Doc, from United States, KY Written on September 9, 2014
Outstanding bag. I took it to the range and it was the only bag I needed. The only reason it is not a 5 star is the zipper. I would like to see a heavier zipper and pulls. The zipper pulls are too small. I had to change them because they started slipping off the zipper....
Pros:
  • Heavy material
Cons:
  • Zippers
  • Zipper pulls
Best Used for:
  • range bag
