Suprised at the quality
Well, i took a shot at this bag to see how it was, and didnt even know what exactly it looked like, but if you want to know, it is the NcStar double rifle case. Im not very sure what they did differently about this gun case, because i dont see any differences, besides the opmod stitching. As for a d...

Good Quality Product, But Not A Shooting Mat
The overall quality and workmanship is good. However, in my opinion, the main zipper does not open far enough on either side to use for a mat. When you open both zippers as far as they go, they are not quite past the radius of either corner. Laying it flat pulls to hard on the zippers and will ev...

Two Thumbs Up for the OPMOD!
Recommended by a fellow shooter, the OPMOD gets 2 thumbs up! Superb value and loaded with features found on bags 2 to 3 times more expensive. In addition, the OPMOD fits in a Pelican 1750 for post-flight transit for firearms travel.

So far so good.
Holds a full size Mossberg 590 persuader and my ar-15 with scope and red-dot at 1 o'clock as well as 2 pistols and all my mags, range finder, lula's, and more. Surprisingly sturdy and roomy. Remember it's a soft case! With all the straps and padding you can "separate" the rifles just fine if you sinch it all down as you should for travel anyway. Great value.

Best double rifle case
I spent a lot of time evaluating about a half dozen double tactical rifle cases and the OPMOD AARC 3.0 was the best by a long shot for my needs. Some cases have more attached pouches or a higher price, but the OPMOD has the right mix of durability, versatility, capacity and affordability. For a recent range trip I packed a light-weight AR-15 with a micro high-rise red dot sight, a heavy-barreled DMR AR-15 with a 1-6x24 scope and bipod, a duty pistol, six PMAG magazines, two 17-round pistol magazines, a 100-round box of 5.56, a 100-round box of 9mm, tools to adjust the AR, a cleaning kit, targets, pens, tape and still had room for a couple more pistols and miscellaneous gear if I'd needed it. Everything is well padded. The main compartment has a heavy divider and velcro strips to hold both of my ARs so they don't bump together. The larger outside pocket has velcro and molle too and is large enough and to carry another AR broken down or an AR pistol or a SBR. The material is very heavy duty with good zippers. I only have two minor negatives on this bag. It's rather heavy even when empty (an OK tradeoff considering the protection it affords my guns) and the zipper pulls come off too easily. They're a piece of cord held together by a plastic clamshell clip that opens too easily allowing the cord to pull off the zipper, a real pain to re-thread quickly.
Pros:
- value
- Size
- Versatility
- good protection
Cons:
- Heavy
- Zipper pulls fall off
Best Used for:
- Transporting guns to range
- Organizing guns in hard case
- Discrete transport

This is an awesome double rifle case.
I'm very happy with this purchase. The rifle case is perfect size, the construction is really good, there's lots of hold-down straps on the inside and the two big pockets on the outside are really nice. I looked at a lot of double rifle cases and decided on this one. I'm glad I did.

Good case for the price
I've had it for about 9 months. I knew it before I bought it, but my main complaint was that it holds the two rifles in one compartment, rather than a divider in the main compartment like some other cases. When carrying it, your rifles will fall on top of each other. This won't happen when you use the velcro straps, but I'd have preferred the other design just so I could throw them in there without securing.
I carry a 16" AR-15 with red dot and 18" .22 with scope in it. It may be tight to fit two AR-15s in the main compartment. I usually put a pistol in the small outer pocket. Nothing in the larger outer pocket, although it could probably fit an AR pistol.
The plastic pieces on the zipper pulls will fall off if not careful, but I've seen that with other bags. The backpack straps are fine for short trips. I don't think it would work well as a mat as the zippers don't really open it all the way flat.
Overall it is definitely worth the price.

Great bag, versatile, holds a multitude of items large or small. Material is rugged, zipper is heavy duty. Fits in the Pelican 1m3300 I purchased with it. Could not beat the price with Optics Planet. Great customer service with fast delivery

Nice well padded bag
I use this bag for 3 gun competition. It holds all my weapons and mags, safe and secure. The padded partition protects the weapons from hitting each other. The pockets are large and hold items well. the seams are well done and the zippers are strong and secure.
