Excellent Rangefinder at a Reasonable Price with Extra Features
I ordered the Realtree brand Rangefinder on the recommendation of a review in Gun Tests Magazine, which compared this brand (model 550) to Nikon and Simmons and after reading several reviews of a lower cost model form a discount on line sports company. The Redfield was evaluated as being the ones the testers most liked to use due to its compact size and intuitive operation and display. The model 600 also has the angle compensation feature for the same price at OpticsPlanet as the 550 without this feature. I have found the Redfield to meet all of the criteria used by the testers.

I have been very satisfied with this product at the price point offered, as I have been with all the Redfield product lines. The optics are clear and provide an acceptable field of view. The laser has proven accurate to the tolerances described within the range limitations.

Great budget range finder
I bought this range finder because of the good reviews it had and the price. I am very happy with it so far and use it primarily for hunting and ranging targets when zeroing rifles. The single button makes it very easy to operate and the unit is very compact. The only thing I don't like is that the display gets a little blurry when I adjust the focus to make the image clear.

Good Value,basic no frills,bells or whistles
This product by Redfield is very easy to use,not at all complex.Don't need to carry your manual around to figure the thing out.Compared different rangefinders and found the yardages to be very close.Not as good as Leupold's RX 1000,BUT a good value.A little dim in poor light but useable.

Excellent Product
Off all the Range Finders I tested, this one fit my hand the best. It is very light and extremely easy to use. I have hunted with this for 30 days this season in all kinds of conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat) and it has exceeded my expectations. I find it much easier to view than the others I have tested. You will not be disappointed.
