It feels and looks like it is well made but mine looks cloudy through the glass and is kind of hard to keep the full field of view. I wear glasses and I think the eye relief isn’t long enough for people wearing glasses
Cons:
- Eye relief is too short for people with glasses

For the money, this is an outstanding scope and a great bargain. I use this spotter at distances out to 200 yards and the performance is superb. The optics are crystal clear and the controls function effortlessly. The lifetime warranty is provided through Leupold, which owns
Redfield, so you can rest assured that should you ever have a problem, it will be corrected quickly and efficiently. I have used scopes costing a lot more than this, but at the distances I shoot, this scope is as close to perfect as one could reasonably expect.

For someone just getting into the sport, this is the perfect entry level spotting scope. It's affordable and gets the job done. I live in Southern California so I don't have to worry about much of the cold weather impacting my scope. So far, no problems in the heat.

Cant ask for a better spot, quality tops. I can hold up my cell phone and take great pictures. On a cruise i spotted objects that couldnt be seen by eye. Scanned the horizon. Easy to adjust. 20 60x60 is really great for the moon. ;-) G

This will be the best spotting scope for the money. I sent back a vanguard endeavor 15x45x65. because it was not 200$ better in clarity. although the eye relief on the endeavor was awesome thru total zoom. how often will that be used?

I am pleased with the features and quality for the price. As with most scopes in this price range, 200 yards is about the limit for target spotting, but I knew that going in. Well constructed, decent glass, and neat features like the full cover and lens caps make it a bargain.

I am so glad that purchased this scope. It was a vast upgrade from a previous low quality scope and a lot better than making that long 50-100 yard walk to see where your 223 rounds actually went.
I would definitely recommend this product, it well worth the price.

Good value.,I wanted a budget priced scope and 'this one works very well for my needs. good light gathering, well built, nice extras; case, cover and tripod. Using it for short to medium distance spotting scope for target shooting . I purchased this scope because of the detailed reviews on opticsplanet and am very satisfied. For the money it' does the job. Would not recommend for very low light viewing. Time will tell if it's durable. If your a serious hunter, spend the money and get better low light gathering optics.
Cons:
- poor low light visibility

I was looking for a new spotting scope to replace the really cheap, fuzzy one I've been using for several years and based on the numerous reviews I read online I decided to give this Redfield Rampage a try. Optics Planet offered it for a good price with free shipping so I went ahead and ordered it. Well, I received it yesterday and immediately took it outside to test out the features and optical clarity. I am very happy to report that I am very pleased with my purchase. The focusing knob functions smoothly and the optics are extremely clear, crisp and bright. At 20 and 40 power the image is crystal clear, at full 60 power the image is a tad bit darker but is still extremely clear. I am really impressed with the clarity of the optics on this unit. This spotting scope is going to make my trips to the shooting range much more enjoyable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't like padded case that the unit slips into. The outside case with the shoulder strap is of good quality and works well, however the padded sleeve case that the unit is supposed to slip into is a very, very tight fit. I actually had a difficult time removing the unit from the sleeve and it's such a tight fit I actually can't slide it back into the sleeve. It's to bad because it really is a nice padded sleeve and has cut outs so you can use the scope while it's in it's sleeve, however it's to tight of a fit. Perhaps it's just the sleeve that I received, I don't know, but I w...
