Fits great, Looks great, feels great. Fits on my Remington 700. 5R. A little heavier than the aluminum but well worth the extra weight and money. I would easily recommend this to anyone! I have Seekins precision’s rings and a Burris xtr ii that fits and looks good on this rail.

I got this product from my Remington 700, it was very easy to install and optic planet delivered on time as always. I was worried the mound is not going to be as stable as the one piece mounting scope, but after about 120 rounds of 308, i’m still holding good zero.

The product was as described but the package was opened like it had been used before. In this case it did not effect the performance of the item. When a customer is purchasing a new product they do not expect to receive something that has been opened.

Excellent quality scope mount base! I like the fact that it's made of steel and not aluminum. I would highly recommend this mount over other brands! Not to mention, the price was very competitive! Thanks again for providing quality merchandise at an affordable cost!

Found this rail to be top quality and excellent fit! Highly recommend it! Also gives you much greater elevation adjustment! It has good length to really allow mounting for various size scopes and mounting positions. The machine work and overall fit and finish was top shelf!

High quality rail with ease of installation. For installation on a Remington 700, all you need is blue loctite and the correct torque (package came with instructions and recommend installation torque). I thought I had to add a thin layer of JB Weld. But surprisingly, the rail sat perfect on top of the rifle with no gaps or arching. My only gripe is that the rail was a bit long. Some extra realty protrudes on the front of the rifle. Keep in mind you might have a bit of trouble if mounting a scope 50mm bell or bigger using medium scope rings (I used the Trijicon medium scope rings also bought from OP). If you like the scope to be further back from the rifle as much as possible, there's a chance the extra length of the rail might limit that. My Trijicon Accupoint 5-20x50 sits nicely on the rail and the bell is just slightly .25 inch above it. You can circumvent this issue by getting a high size scope ring or by cutting off some of the front (clinching).
Pros: High quality metal, ease of installation, finish, weight, stability
Cons: a bit too long for my REM 700
