Better Than Sig Origonal
A sight pusher is recomended to install these but The Trijicon night sights are better than the Sig OEM more contrast in moderate light and sharper in low/ no light. You will need professional installation or a sight pusher to install without causing damage, but these were just right for the 229

The Trijicon night sights are fantastic. They are rugged and bright. These are the only night sights I use because they’re the best.

The first set of night sites did not glow in the dark. Optics Planet exchanged the defective set for a good set very quickly. I'm completely satisfied with the new set. They work as they should.

Great 365 sights
Awesome sights, always my go to on all of my carry guns. Definitely cant go wrong with an Trijicon product. Strongly recommend these or the HD/ HD XR for anyone looking for a great and reliable set of iron sights.

Required "Fitting"!
The sights were just fine after getting them on but the fitting required was a hassle! Sighs came well packaged and they do light up very nice. Once on the weapon, they are very easy to pick up and use. But that is all the good I have to say. Using my professional Wheeler sight pusher these sights out of the box were not going to go on! Front and rear required some "fitting" in order to install and luckily I did have the correct files to be able to do this. However, when you pay this much for a brand name like, Trijicon, and the sights are marked for use in a well known brand and model like the Sig 229, you expect them to fit and install without having to do any work on them first! That was a real hassle and because of that I can not recommend thsee sights at all! Very, very, disappointing to say the least!

Sig 229 Sights
They work well once installed. Unlike Glock Sights (that install flawlessly, the dog Sights need to be hand for. They need to be sanded down to the essay size before they will be successfully installed. This will take some and patience. Issue a whetstone or very fine sandpaper or file to size correctly. Good Luck!

Bright day or night, but...
These sights are definitely an improvement over my SIG night sights particularly for daytime use. I tended to lose their SIG sights if facing 70 degrees or so either side of the sun. These HD sights solved that problem.
I never had a problem at night with the SIG sights, but these HD sights are slightly better for this too. The "but" comes in with my ability to see the color discrimination of the Green rear sight and the Yellow front sight. They look about the same to my eyes. Bit of a disappointment, but the plusses outweigh that color problem negative.

Perfection in your hand
I have a Sig P220 Stainless Elite 4.4 inch in 45ACP and these sights, especially when combined with the Crimson Trace laser grips make the ABSOLUTE PERFECT EDC combo for all situations. The ability to quickly bring the piece into battery on target every time can't be beat!

Trijicon Three dot Sig P220
Excellent replacement sight, bigger and boulder than the stock sights, sites a little higher, great acquisition on follow up shots. Front sights are much brighter and easy to see your target during night firing or contact. There was no mistake my sight alignment once I was up and around. My eyes were completely adjusted for the night and the sights clearly stood out-so much in fact that I was completely fixated on them.

Completely glad I decided to change to these sites. I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone. If the appropriate tool is available, installation is a snap. If you do not have this tool, call a few local gunsmiths and get an idea how much they charge. You will not be disappointed choosing this product!
