Most Helpful Positive Review Good Shtuff
the only thing i had to do to make this front sight 100% was place a small paper washer (the kind that come with motherboard screws) between the sight and the barrel. without it the screw actually extended a little bit into the barrel itself and the sight didn't line up correctly either. with the washer on the screw is flush with the bore and sight lines up properly with a tight fit. Pros: nice and bright

Even after ordering the correct model for my shotgun, the sight did not alignt correctly when tightened.
Pros: Sleak & subtle, good illumination.
Cons: Thread post is too long.

good fiberoptic bead replacement for brass bead on plain barrel shotgun.

Measure accurately

TruGlo size chart said to use 6-48 thread for an Ithaca barrel. that's what I ordered for an 18" cylinder bore, Ithaca barrel. I removed the old bead sight, opened the package and found the new sight was too big for the hole in the barrel,should have been a 3-56 thread.It was also too long as it would overhang the end of the barrel. So, it now sits in my spare parts box, waiting for the right barrel, but it is very bright.
Pros: Very bright
Cons: extends over end of the barrel,

Mossberg 590 replacement sight.

Nice alternative to the blah factory dot sight.
Pros: Anything is better than the factory dot.
Cons: Threads hang slightly into the barrel.
