Laser and light will not work at the same time. He will come on for a second and go right back out. Very disappointed

I wanted a more compact design than what I had already. This works perfectly. The multiple functions are nice. I really like the strobe setting. I also put one on my home shot gun using a Defender Tactical mount.

This is an excellent product. Easily installed on the rail of my S&W M&P 2.0 9mm. Battery insertion at the front of the light is very easy and does not require device removal (which will be very handy when the time comes for battery change). Adjusting windage and elevation is easy and straightforward.

This is my fist laser/light combo, and I was very pleased from the start. In fact, it was put to the test late last night, when we thought an intruder had entered the home. The light was bright — lit up the large spaces in my house, and the laser is very bright and intense at the target area around the laser. Turning the device on was easy and immediate. I had chosen the settings upon installation, and changing the settings — which requires pushing the buttons on both sides at the rear of the device simultaneously — is easy and intuitive. Turning the device on — which requires the pushing of only one of the buttons (left or right, whichever you prefer) — is easy, and the button has just the right responsiveness, not requiring too hard a push but requiring pressure to turn it on. It turns on the setting which you used the last time it was on.

In summary, it is an excellent light/laser combo for home defense, which will be the function of this full-size S&W M&P 2.0 at my bedside. I cannot comment on the device with carry outside the home (I will likely not carry this on my person); however, I would not hesitate to use it for car trips. It arrived and was scuffed up, which I don’t care about because it was a demo, but then the light didn’t work. Had to send in to Viridian. Hoping they can fix it.

I’ve had the varidian X5L for 3 months, mounted to a Glock 40 10mm.
Rarely used, however today the laser quit. It seems to have a mind of its own. Works, then not working. Same problem with my other Viridian the expensive one w/the rechargeable battery.
Not impressed!

This is the second Veridian laser sight that I purchased. The light is incredibly bright, the different modes to choose from is a very nice feature. The laser even in broad daylight is incredibly visible, in a dark situation you can only imagine how much brighter. I highly recommend optics planet and this laser sight to all.

Easy to install and provides good illumination. Green laser is very good for my needs. For the money I'd recommend this unit if you are in the market for a good light laser combo. I like the battery replacement by removing the front of the light, very easy and no need to remove the unit from the rail.

Amazing power on the tactical light, laser is even more impressive and very easy to install and operate I highly recommend! Light weight does not make my firearm front end heavy. Not say enough about all the different programmable modes between the laser and tactical light.

There is NOT ONE holster on the Earth that is made for the viridian and Springfield xd 45 acp. I even called viridian they were very nice in telling me about the 15 other companies that might have one. But, of course no.

Didn’t work right out of the box, I threw it straight in the trash can don’t waste your money!! Lack of instructions in the box also, you have to get online just to figure out how to put the battery in if you didn’t already know how to do it, it is made very cheaply! stick with something in the better known brands more than likely you will be better off.
