Tactical use
Works great. Holds gun firm with latch and holster will not pull out of pants when drawing weapon. Latch can be popped out for non restrictive draw of weapon. Holster is practically indestructible. Holster turns Viridian laser and or light on when drawing from hoster.

Simply not as advertised

Superior Product
I had one of the originals when they first came out. It didn't have the auto on-off feature. So I decided to upgrade. I have Veridian lights on all my pistols, and these holsters are for me, the best!

Solid holster
Bought this for aGen 5 Glock 17 with Viridian XTL. The holster I got came with the paddle mount which seems to be the same as the ones for blackhawk holsters. Positively grips the weapon with only a slight wiggle. The retention release is placed perfectly to put your trigger finger right where it needs to be. The best part is it has the ability to use the react feature on your Viridian light! For this price you just can't beat it.

Love my Tac-Loc
I am very happy with the new tac-loc holster. It functions perfectly. The retention makes you feel at ease. The price is just great. I don't particularly like the paddle and will be ordering the belt loop back soon. Ecr functions flawlessly.

Ruger SR9c
UT-HT-TACLOC-950-0034 I received this yesterday, dropped my gun in, and that's about it. Drops in great. To bad it'll never stay put. The lock doesn't even come in contact with the gun. The only other thought is that you have to have a Viridian laser mounted on the gun for it to work properly, but that's alot of $$$ to throw away if it doesn't work. I checked clearances and can't even see that the laser will fill the gap to make the lock work.

Some Flaws
Got this to use with the Viridian laser/light combo. The gun to holster fit was a little loose but sufficient. I like the fact that you can interchange attachments with Blackhawk holsters. If I leave the laser/light on and holster it, it turns off and when I draw it turns back on for the most part as advertised. But my problem is that after leaving the weapon in the holster for 30mins or more when I draw nothing comes on and the buttons won't even turn the laser/light on/off. Removing and reinstalling the battery seems to make it recover. Now this might not be the fault of the holster but rather my light, but I had to mention it.

Great Holster
This holster fits my S&W M&P 9 Pro CORE with the Viridian C5 laser/light, and my Leupold Delta Point optic, attached. It also fits my S&W M&P 22 with the Viridian C5 laser/light attached. It deactivates the Viridian C5 laser/light when the weapon is placed in the holster, as advertised. The Viridian C5 laser/light comes on instantly when the weapon is drawn. Very fast and smooth. I actually like the release on this holster better that that on my Blackhawk SERPA Holster.

Good Holster
Holster didn't work on my 1911, but it worked beautifully on my neighbor's Taurus rail 1911 with my Viridian C5 Green Laser. Worked just as advertised.
Pros: easy set up works geat with an ECR VIRIDIAN.
Cons: doesn't work on other 1911's

Modification change
It would be nice if it could be adjustable to allow for different mount positions of laser sight on rail. Possibly include a shorter locking arm to allow the laser to be positioned away from trigger housing to better accomodate a 2 handed grip.
