Vixen Piggyback 1/4"-20 Fine Adjustment Unit DX 3562
This is almost a necessity when taking pictures of birds at 50 yards away.I use this with my Nikon fieldscope. I tried different heads but they still lacked precision of control-one small movement and the subject is out of the fame. For distant photography- get this! I do not know if similar products exist and have not used anything other than the tripod head before so I am not an expert.
Pros: easy to use, precise, durable construction
Cons: none so far
