Save your money and purchase a better quality red dot. This red dot has only two positions: OFF and Dim. Put a new battery in the unit and cannot see the red dot in average daylight. Purchased it for my daughter's gun so hence the reason I did not drop 300 to 400 on it but shoot, would like a product that works. Guess I will toss this in the trash and go by a product from an OEM I know I can trust.

Reasonable priced Reddot sightsee what’s available in the micro reddot category . Works well battery life is good. It is simple for anyone to operate Very compact and easily installed. Zeroing the scope is a little awkward. Installed on marlin lever action 22 long rifle. I would recommend this sight another customer who has similar needs to my own.

Was recommended by two friends. Compact & accurate. A great sight for the value, got mine on sale, even better. Fired about 100 rounds and stays dead on. Have used on AR and shotgun with great results. Everyone should have at least one of these sights.

Tried the sight out at an indoor range today. It's mounted on my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lite and it looks terrific. It took me longer to site in than I anticipated. Adjusting the elevation and windage is tricky with the small slot for the screw driver and no clicking or feel for alteration. Once sighted in it seems to hold. The red dot is easy to see and the slight dimming makes it good for an indoor range. The red dot was not too big or bright for sighting in at 25 yards. Considering the price the unit seems to be working well. Just make sure the mounting screw for the weaver mount is as tight as possible. Once tightened it seems to hold well. If it's not tight, it will impact your ability to maintain accuracy and make proper adjustments. So far the sight appears to be doing what it's supposed to do and seems to be well constructed.
Pros:
- light weight
- Easy to install
- Looks good
- Well constructed
Cons:
- Adjusting windage and elevation is tricky

I bought this two and a half years ago for my Ruger 2245. I can not tell you if it will hold up on a larger caliber rifle but its worked great for my 2245. Cons are it takes a min. to acquire the dot. Changing the battery is also a pain. You have to take the site off and its under the unit. So far its worked well though. Small so it does not interfere with my 2245.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- Small
- holds up on 22lr in my exp.
Cons:
- changing battery is a pain
- acquireing the red dot is not fast

I got this sight to mount on a Savage Rascal single shot .22 for my grandson. It appears to be very well constructed and fit well on the Rascal scope base. I only needed to use one base because of the small size of the Mini Shot, but I knew that would be the case. When I say small, I mean TINY! Comparable in size to a Burris Fast Fire 2 or 3. Scale-wise, it is a perfect fit for the Rascal, as it would be for any semi-auto pistol. The dot is bright enough for use in sunlight, and is adjustable for low-light conditions. While the quality is not up to that of the Fast Fire, neither is the cost. The Sightmark is approximately 1/3 the cost of the Burris. The red dot is not perfectly round, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for ranges up to 50 yards. The only negative I found was the inability to mount the sight on the rear mounting screw holes on the Rascal receiver. The big knob that clamps to the scope base prevented the bolt from opening. I tried to rotate the sight base 180 degrees, but it wouldn't fit on the sight that way. I mounted the Mini Shot on the front holes and it seems ok. All in all, I would recommend this for someone who wants a red dot for hunting and plinking without having to spend a lot of money.
Pros:
- Size
- cost
- quality and value
Best Used for:
- hunting & target shooting

Mounted on Ruger Super Blackhawk 454 Casull. Have not fired yet. The red dot on this sight is not well defined, i.e. more of a 'blob'. The 'blob' is larger than dot is supposed to be, but should not really impact my shortcomings in aiming.
Sight appears to be well built. I removed mount the unit came with and attached directly to a JP Rifles adapter for Roger revolver.

So far, so good. I bought this as my first step in improving my center fire target shooting with my Smith & Wesson revolver. It works fine, and I like the small size. I am still an awful shot - just not as awful as before.
