Most Helpful Positive Review Yukon Viking 1 X 24 Night Vision Bino Kit
This unit was very well made and of high quality. The assembly of the headband to the goggles was easy. Most Helpful Negative Review Yukon Viking 1x24 Night Vission Goggles
The material used for the eye relief is unconfortable and doesn't help to fit the Goggle in to the face. Image distorsion on the sides of the angle view. The color in the image is green but the unit we receive is black.

Night vision

by Be careful, from PA, United States Written on February 1, 2016
I returned this product for a full refund. I tried using the goggles for 3 straight evenings in hopes of hunting coyotes. I could only see about 40 feet which wasn't what I was expecting. Also, the goggles were very uncomfortable.

Add review for Goggle Kit

This unit was very well made and of high quality. The assembly of the headband to the goggles was easy. Adjusting the head gear took about 10 minutes to find a comfortable fit, very necessary, but again, very easy. I first used the night vision with no moon, in a VERY dark rural area. They worked fairly well. When I used the IR lamp, it was like seeing in the daylite.
the headband was extremely secure, and shaking my head side to side, the goggles stayed in place perfectly. I found the best thing to do was to focus the binos at their best usable distance, which was about 90-99 feet,(with a field of view of 58 ft) and then adjust the sliders one eye at a time. You can see at least 300 ft. with the IR lamp but the best distance is listed above. There was a bit of flickering in one side when not using the IR lamp. I was able to see bats flying around and rabbits on the ground.
I also found that the inter-ocular distance was a bit narrow for my eyes and not adjustable. For most people, this would not be a problem. I had a great time trying these out and for most applications, these would be great for the money. I however was wanting to use them for security on my property. For that, I found that if the IR lamp was on, anyone approaching you would see a red light coming towards them...
I also need a goggle which will give good resolution at 350-400 ft. and that means a lot more money. Other than my 2 requirements, I would highly recommend these goggles. The next step up will co...

Great basic night vision goggles, difficult to use with eyeglasses, quirky eye relief

by Legacy Reviewer, from PA, United States Written on April 4, 2013
Great device if you're like me and cannot spend $3500 on the latest generation night vision.
Pros: Affordable night vision goggles that are surprisingly clear
Cons: Difficult to keep everything in focus, difficult to use with eyeglasses or protective eyewear

Good NV goggles at relatively close range.

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on March 5, 2012
Purchased goggles for night vision around farm to identify varmits and hogs, and for use with (NV compatible) red dot sight on farm rifle. Night vision out to 40 yards is good, and is still reasonable out to 60 to 75 yards. View through red dot site also works best at 40 yards or less, longer distances the target begins to blur-out behind the dot. The two problems I experienced are that the infared illuminator cannot be used with the red dot site because of glare, and my rifle flash blurs the goggles for ten to twenty seconds after firing, preventing a follow-up shot.
Pros: Provides good night vision out to 40 yards, and head gear adjusts easily and holds goggles firmly.
Cons: Although objects are still perceptible, rapidly lose clarity from 40 yards out to approximately 100, and not much help at further distances.

I bought these goggles in order to do some night exploring. The goggles performed well from all aspects. The image was clear, the headstrap held unit securely in place.
Pros: Bot very "stealthy"
