The improved D2 Gear Design of this Fishing Reel from Abu Garcia features the next generation of Duragear providing a more efficient and powerful gear system while improving the overall durability of the Revo Winch. An extended bent handle with larger EVA knobs provides greater grip and power while the dual anti-reverse gives you additional back up for those high pressure situations. With a more compact and ergonomic design that includes a X2-Craftic alloy frame and C6 carbon infused side plates, the Abu Garcia REVO Winch Bait Cast Reel has a dramatic 19 percent weight reduction over previous models. Many anglers were requesting additional control in windy situations so they upgraded the Abu Garcia Revo Winch Reel to the Infini brake design. The combination of a Magnetic Brake and sealed Centrifugal Brake allow almost limitless adjustment with the Infini Brake System. The centrifugal brake controls the first half of the cast when the spool is rotation at its maximum speed. Once the spool slows, the magnetic brake on the Abu Garcia Revo Winch Low Profile Fishing Reel acts on the spool to keep it under control during the last half of the cast.
