The ECL Western Blotting Substrate Enhancer Kit consists of two super absorbent polyester filters with an enhanced Enzyme Substrate Enhancer (EWST) and a blocking dye. The ECL Western Blotting Substrate Enhancer (EWST) is placed in a chamber and a strip of PVDF strip is applied. The ECL Western Blotting blocking dye is then placed in a chamber and a band of color is developed. Extra polymeric binding sites provide increased sensitivity, particularly for detection of low molecular weight dyes. The Ecl Western Blotting Substrate Enhancer Kit provides enhanced sensitivity and abrasion resistance to help ensure the recovery of low molecular weight dyes. The super absorbent polyethylene glycol in the ECL Western Blotting Substrate Enhancer Kit prevents under/over loading of antigens onto the transducer.
