Produced from very clean recycled paperboard that is specially formulated to be very soft and very absorbent. Will not trap liquids or gases and is perfect for use in autoclaves, storing liquids, making pipette cleaners, desiccators, and even as a bottom layer in scraped denim jeans. Mats lay completely flat when opened and are easily removed with scissors, using both hands. Cuts absorb six times their own weight in liquids and gases. Mats can be laundered by immersing or wringing out the excess water, or they can be wrung out, allowing the entire mat to dry.
