These rugged, high-quality ground glass flasks are manufactured to the same exacting standards as all VWR vacuum flasks. They are supplied with a ST ground glass stopper that will not absorb acids or bases, will not react with most organic solvents, and will not denature or oxidize. The flasks are designed with a broad range of necks to accommodate a wide variety of necks. The necks are fully supported and may be rolled back to facilitate lid installation. The rear of the flasks are made of ST glass which is annealed with the necks to prevent chipping. The stoppers are color coded and may be ground to facilitate sorting and marking. The necks are drilled to accept the many ground glass tops that are compatible with the ST glass.
