Thermo Scientific Varian Warming Uniforms Sleeves are made of breathable, fire-resistant material that keeps your skin or hair cool and dry in almost any situation. The Ryton fabric was selected for its natural, hydrophobic properties that allow moisture to evaporate quickly from the skin surface while maintaining insulating properties. The cooling function keeps skin cool and prevents burns from hot liquids. The annual heating and cooling cycle keeps the skin cool and prevents heat stress that can melt the hair and skin. In addition to the cooling function, the breathable material also has an integrated cooling channel that circulates fluid throughout the inner sleeve. The Cooling Channel prevents heat transfer from the skin surface to the inner sleeve. The outer sleeve is made of breathable material that lets sweat evaporate out of the skin surface while the inner sleeve is nonwoven material that permits fluid to pass through. A retainer strap keeps the sleeve in place and the sleeve can be removed to lower the level of liquid or removed to increase space for other work or hobbies.
