These STOPPERS have a muslin backing and are intended for use with flexible hoses for laboratory animal cages and bird feeders. They have also been used with clear and amber glassware and certain plasticware. Characteristics include a high degree of transparency and chemical resistance, good mechanical strength and pliability. Characteristics of STOPPER PTFE based formulation include a relatively low force to break, excellent chemical resistance and pliability. In addition, the STOPPER PTFE based formulation has also been tested for a number of other applications besides benchtop use. These include leakproofing, stand-offs, fume hoods, gaskets, seals and vents.
