The General Purpose Wash Bottle is designed to meet the need for high-quality contamination-free water for research use. It is made of clear toughened, shatterproof, 250 ml (8.4 oz) volume. The wide mouth top allows easy filling, dispensing, and cleaning. The orifice reduces clogging and channeling of cleaning solutions, and the bottle necks stay cool to the touch. The wide mouth top also allows sterile water to be introduced at any angle, which improves water flow to work areas that are susceptible to cross contamination. The spout folds down to allow for easy cleaning, and a sprayer nozzle is included. The bottles are supplied with an automatic needle valve shut-off at the dispensing end, and a calibration mark at the top of the neck. Bottles are autoclavable; the lid is a removable filling funnel.
