Does the AS-BS-UNIVERSALBOR-BS-223-20X .223 work with the Aimshot 6.5prc/300prc Rifle Arbor For Use W/.223 Boresight ZRPRC? Manufacturer Answer

Any of the AimShot 223 laser bore sights will work with any of the AimShot rifle caliber arbors. We usually recommend the MBS (Modular Bore Sight) versions as they will include the external AAA battery pack which is what we recommend for best usage (20+ hours of laser output vs 15-20 minutes with the tiny internal batteries). The MBS223 is our normal recommendation, but for sure the BS223-20x (brighter laser compared to the standard BS223) will work with the arbors. You can always add the external battery pack at a future time (MBP223 Modular Battery Pack, compatible with all 223 lasers except the green laser).

Designed to be used with an external battery pack our battery bore sight systems provide an extended run time that the traditional bore sight cannot. Allowing the operator 20+ hours of run time off 2 AAA batteries this system offers the most economical solution for all your bore sighting needs. The .223 and 30 versions are fully functional with the AimSHOT arbor system giving the operator more versatility out of their unit.image

AimShot 223 lasers bore sight. AimShot has taken our traditional external battery pack 223/5.56 laser bore sight and converted it into a high-performance laser bore sight with the addition of a laser diode! Now you can have a professional quality laser bore sight just like the gunsmiths!

With the external battery pack (2AAA batteries included) and high-output green laser, it's no problem to get your optics mounted, even in full sunlight! This laser is also the basis for the AimShot rifle caliber laser bore sight system and is used in conjunction with the AimShot Rifle Arbors to bore sight most major rifle calibers. Insert 223 brass laser module into the chamber and align scope reticle to match laser beam at 20 yards. Remove the laser and proceed to the range for final adjustments at whatever range you want your zero.

The external battery bore sight system is intended for use with the bolt removed or action left open for bore sighting. Severing the wire will render the laser inoperable. If the wire is broken the unit will have to be sent to AimShot for repair.

This is the system that AimShot recommends be used with Aimshot arbors for any caliber laser bore sighting. It is the most versatile and accurate system on the market, and should not be compared to any other chamber-based bore sights. AimShot has the original patent on the chamber laser bore sight and still makes the best system. More accurate, more durable, longer lasting, and functionally superior to any other system on the market. Used extensively by manufacturers in the industry, and the US military. The original and still the best.

The AimShot laser bore sight system is designed around a single high-quality laser, 223 for rifle calibers, and a system of hollow arbors that are designed to fit over the 223 lasers and fit in the chamber for other calibers. So if you want to bore sight a 308, you would need the 223 lasers and then the appropriate arbor (AR243, in this case, will fit all 308-based calibers). Being able to bore sight additional calibers by purchasing an arbor is much more cost-effective.
