Sturdy, easy to use, does everything it's supposed to. I use one on each end of a 2 point sling. I'm matching the front to an Arisaka QD. The other mates with the stock's QD. Another solid ALG product.

I really like the ALG Defense Forged QD Sling Swivel. It is manufactured of aluminum and therefore lighter weight than a steel QD sling swivel. It works just as good as any steel QD sling swivel I've used. The obvious downside is the high cost.

Bought this based on reviews to work with existing Magpul sling and qd sockets after the Magpul qd sockets are known to unfasten during use. The design is the best I've found to date. Very nicely machined. Would buy again.

Product Info for ALG Defense Forged QD Sling Swivel
The ALG Forged QD Sling Swivel is a lightweight but heavy-duty sling swivel option. The standard QD configuration makes it compatible with any device that accepts QD accessories. The FSS weighs in at roughly 0.5 ounces and is about half the weight of similar steel QD sling swivel assemblies. The FSS is forged from 7075 T6 aluminum, which is the same aluminum and manufacturing process used to make mil-spec upper and lower receivers. This process allows the FSS to be very strong and can withstand pull forces of up to 800lbs.
