Their 9mm Luger ammo is especially popular because it is one of the most common calibers in the country. They also created a unique tracer-like design for their rounds, which provide visual feedback while shooting without having an incendiary tip. They also offer a wide range of varieties of 9mm Luger, including jacketed hollow points, FMJ, and standard hollow points, to serve a wide range scenarios.image

FAQ:

What are tracer-like rounds?

Ammo, Inc. has several different lines of 9mm Luger ammo, and their STREAK line is known as tracer-like. These are offered in both FMJ and jacketed hollow point (JHP) varieties, and they are non-incendiary visual aides. This means that the tip of the round does not have an incendiary charge, which is what allows traditional tracer ammunition to glow after it is fired. Instead, the STREAK rounds are designed so that the back of each bullet is illuminated, giving you a better idea of the shot's trajectory and where it hits. This design also makes them safe for use at many indoor ranges, which typically outlaw traditional tracer rounds due to their flammable nature.

What are the differences between regular hollow points and jacketed hollow points?

These are two extremely common types of ammunition and they function similarly, with the main goal of both being increased expansion and reduced risk of over penetration after firing. AS the name implies, the main difference is that JHP rounds have a copper jacket around the tip of the bullet, while traditional hollow points have an exposed lead tip. The jacketing is beneficial because it allows the rounds to feed easily in semi-automatic weapons, as the copper can glide against the metal in the weapon easier than just lead. Additionally, without exposed lead touching the inside of the barrel, your firearm experiences less wear and tear.
