Product Info for Apex Tactical Specialties Low Profile Safety Selectors for the CZ Scorpion
Apex is proud to introduce our new low profile safety selectors designed to lower the overall height of your CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 trigger guard. The selectors are machined from 6061 aluminum and are hard coat anodized. They come in a pair and will install in minutes using the existing screw holes on the rear of the trigger guard. If you are looking for a simple yet stylish way to finish off your trigger guard, look no further than the Apex Low Profile Safety Selectors. These selectors are easy to install and will convert your trigger guard to a lower profile one simply by moving the safety aside (i.e., adding a spacer). They will not alter the overall height of your safety or impact resistance, which was designed into the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 to accommodate its anticipated larger power source. We did this in part, to allow the possibility of a dual activation safety instead of a single action safety. This is a great feature to replace the factory safety, which is, of course, an attractive feature, but at the end of the day, it is just as easy to do it yourself. The installation instructions are simple: remove the factory safety, then slide the Selector over the retainer, slide it down, engage the safety, then slide it over the retainer. Do not use the high speed (short throw) safety, as it is dangerous to accidentally engage with the safety in short while firing. Once you do, the fire button will activate the safety, and the safety will engage the fire, which is dangerous in a short burst. Our safety selectors are big enough to handle this, it does not need to be grabbed by hand every time you use it.
