This product is pathetically over priced and gives lees protection than a comparable styled model from a company called Howard Leight. Don't waste your money on an inferior product, 3M is notorious for over pricing their products.

3M Peltor Artillery Earmuffs were specially created with input from the US Army. Artillery Earmuffs from PELTOR are ideal for dual protection and especially useful for impulse noise. These Peltor hearing protectors are designed to meet the grueling demands of the US Warfighter. The comfortable, low profile design on these tactical earmuffs fit perfectly with ACH and other military helmets. Health Hazard Assessments have declared safe firing limits for specified firing elevations and charges. These hearing protectors from PELTOR ensure compliance with any dual hearing protection requirements posted in weapon systems manuals.image
