Cold Steel Shamshir Sword 88STS. Is this the newer version with engraved cross guard and scabbard? There's an earlier plain version

My new Cold Steel 88STS which arrived two weeks ago has the engraved cross guard and scabbard mouth and tip which was introduced by Cold Steel in their 2018 catalog. Prior to the 2018 model, the 88STS has the plain cross guard.
