Product info states that this works for both the Macro X and Macro Comp. Can't be if one has a 3.1 in barrel and the other a 3.7 in. Please clarify

They both have the same length slide, which is where the spring is installed. So this works in both. (The 3.7" barrel of the XMACRO extends the length of the slide while the 3.1" barrel of the XMACRO comp/Legion stops short of the comp ports in the slide)
